MINT – A Graduate Degree Program at the University of Alberta
Internetworking is the key to connecting networks of various sizes and complexity. It binds the world's many disparate networks together – a task that is increasingly complex and challenging.
The goal of the innovative MINT program at the UofA – located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada – is to educate students on current Internetworking fundamentals and provide the management and analytical skills required to develop evolving Internetworking infrastructures and lead project teams.
Students are exposed to both theoretical and practical aspects of Internetworking, taught by experts in education and research. You will also become familiar with the latest technologies and equipment through real-world applications and hands-on experience on over $2 million of new high-speed telecommunications equipment in the MINT lab.
A Graduate Education that Will Take You Places You Want to Go
The Master of Science in Internetworking program is a fully-accredited, course-based graduate degree program jointly offered by the Department of Computing Science in the Faculty of Science, and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta.
Admission requirements include a four-year undergraduate degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related area. Significant industry experience may also be considered as a basis for admission.
